Sentio Partners, one of the UK’s leading independent corporate finance advisory firms, has appointed brand and design agency Smith to lead a strategic brand and website project.

The work covers brand positioning, messaging, visual identity and a new website, built to reflect the firm’s growth ambitions and the calibre of its client work.

Founded in Leeds in 2012, Sentio has built a reputation advising private and public companies, management teams and institutional investors on deals typically ranging from around 10 million to 250 million pounds.

The team leads on company disposals, acquisitions, management buy-outs, growth capital and debt advisory, across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing and engineering, healthcare, building products, retail and leisure, technology, and vehicle and fleet.

Recent work includes advising on the £36 million pound exit of healthcare tech platform CloudRx, the sale of Symphony Group, and the sale of cutting-tools business Cutwel to Inflexion. Sentio prides itself on being genuinely partner-led – on every transaction a Partner leads first meeting to completion.

Oli Smith, Founder at Smith, said:

“Professional services firms tend to hide behind the same language and the same look. Everyone claims to be trusted and experienced, so those words stop meaning anything.

“Sentio advise on serious deals, and they’re genuinely different in how they work. The brand needs to say that before anyone picks up the phone. That’s the job here. Not decoration – it’s about differentiation. We’re building a brand and a website that do just that.”

Andrew Barlow, Partner at Sentio Partners, said:

“We know what makes us different when we’re involved in a process alongside our client. The challenge is making that obvious before we get in the room.

“We chose Smith because they started with the business, not aesthetics. They asked the questions that really get to the heart of what makes us different. That’s the kind of partner we wanted.”

The project is due to complete in 2026.
