Creating a strong brand presence for North Defence

The Challenge

North Fire had built a strong reputation in the fire market. Now they were moving into defence – a different market, a different audience, a different set of expectations.

One brand couldn’t do both jobs.

We created an entirely separate identity to signal the specialism clearly. Identity, marketing communications, and a new digital presence – built from the ground up for a defence audience that doesn’t respond to generics.

The 'N' symbol was inspired by a military badge worn by the founder.
