How Brand Means Business

When you change perception, you can change behaviour, which in turn can affect performance.

And that’s why brand means business.

Because changing how people see you, can change the game.

When we talk about brand, we like to use the example of a brain tattoo.

Essentially, your brand is a set of thoughts and feelings people have about your organisation.

Brought to life by your product or service, communications and your overall customer experience.

What people think of your organisation can affect its success.

If people think you sell off-the-shelf solutions, but really you sell something bespoke, people might not get in touch because of what they see. Their perception of you is wrong.

Sometimes how you are perceived can hold you back – without you even realising it.

Over the years, we’ve heard the following challenges that have held our clients back due to how they are perceived:

– Customers aren’t clear on what we do
– The market isn’t clear on our scale and capabilities – selling is tough
– We lose out of new business because people think we’re expensive

They change internally, but don’t manifest it externally.
