Smith Hits the Sweet Spot with Noomz Launch

Langtins, a Yorkshire-based confectionary company, has appointed Smith to launch its latest product – Noomz. 

Noomz is a new range of freeze-dried sweets that transforms classic confectionery into unique sweets. Made famous by space exploration, Noomz is now bringing freeze-dried to the mainstream market with its extreme flavour and crunchy texture captivating the tastebuds of snack enthusiasts across the UK. 

Smith was appointed to lead the creative direction for the brand from concept to delivery. We created the name and brand concept and are now responsible for launching the Noomz brand to market, including PR campaigns, social and paid media strategy and website development. 

This week, we were at the Food and Drink Expo 2025 at NEC Birmingham to launch Noomz to the retail market. The team at Smith brought the brand to life, designing a custom-built stand for the expo complete with POS displays, screen animations and a Whack-the-Noomz game which increased footfall to the stand and generated interest from wholesalers, retailers and journalists alike.

“Noomz has been a great project for us to work on. We created and developed a new ‘Noomz’ world that embraces the fun and exciting world of freeze-dried candy. We designed characters to bring the brand to life and transport customers into the world of Noomz where they can embrace their fun and silly side. We’ve already generated demand from renowned retailers and we’re excited to launch to the consumer market very soon.”
